The Maioliche Apartments are situated in the historic heart of Griante,
Cadenabbia, a location that defined the "Grand Tour" for European elite.
Since the late 1700s, this sun-drenched shore has been a sanctuary for
luminaries like Giuseppe Verdi , who found inspiration for La Traviata in
these very streets, and Queen Victoria , who favored the central lake for its
microclimate. Our name, Maioliche, honors the vibrant, hand-painted

Italian tiles that have adorned prestigious lakefront villas for centuries,
representing a bridge between artisan heritage and the warmth of a private
home and we were very much a part of the early trade on the lake.
While we honor our 17th-century surroundings, the Maioliche has been fully
reimagined as a premier Boutique Aparthotel for the modern traveler with
